Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging form the essential framework for fair and respectful collaboration. They are the foundation of our values at flaconi and cultivate an environment where new ideas can thrive, and where everyone feels valued and included. ✨
As diverse individual personalities and experiences converge at our company, creating a sense of belonging is paramount. This was the central theme of our Diversity Day. Our “DEI & B” group played a pivotal role in raising awareness and facilitating meaningful connections among us. 🤝
The day kicked off with heartfelt stories from our flaconis who shared their personal experiences with diversity and inclusion at flaconi. We then engaged in a fun game of flaconi Bingo, where everyone sought out colleagues who matched specific characteristics, such as “has a pet,” “meditates regularly,” or “is a woman in a male-dominated role.” This activity not only fostered camaraderie but also highlighted our commonalities. In the privilege circle, participants formed a circle and stepped into the center based on their responses to prompts about privilege and personal experiences.
It was a wonderful morning filled with flaconis celebrating our differences and nurturing an environment where everyone feels supported and embraced.
